When I working as freelance SEO, like to use Google blogspot.com for blogger allow me change the blog source code. Compared with other blog service like blog.com wordpress.com and webs.com, blogger is advertisement free and I can remove any links from the template which I hate to put in my blog to steal my SEO.
However, blogspot.com site still need to do On Site SEO, for example, take out the blog name which add into every single post inside the title tag. Make the title tag exactly same as the every single post tile.

1 Open the html editor under Layout->Edit Html
2 find the code
3 Change the code to
Save and publish again. After that you will never ever bother by the title with blog name any more.
